Advanced In-Service SF6 Program

This test program is used to determine the condition of gaseous, in-service SF₆ within high voltage power equipment. A wide range of SF₆ breakdown products and impurities are measured and evaluated relative to IEC in-service limit guidelines. Sampling can be performed on small, customer supplied DOT rated cylinders, passivated cylinders rented from ALI (both require proper hazmat shipping) or sampled with our special, low-pressure / no emission “No-Haz” SF₆ Sampling Kit which allows for proper SF₆ sample shipping as a non-hazmat.
